I sit and read the things we write,
and some things don't make sense.
I often have to wonder,
could we really be this dense?
I look at many topics
and ponder what is in your mind?
We are hypocrites -
A bunch of mindless twits.
We hang our heads up high
To the sky for the sake of our ego.
We whine, we complain
'Till there's nothing - it's all ran away.
We shout, we yell...
We all deal with the turmoil,
and tolerate the stress
of a life that's full of heartache,
even from the one's that we love the best.
We sit around and ponder,
about things that may have been....
One day, long ago
She once lived playing in the snow,
The snow was life and have it it did,
The life was gone, ended in kid.
When death proceeds, many things live.
When life recedes, all...
So life has got you down, and you're left with nowhere to go.
This world's in your face and you are lost and all alone.
Take a big step back, take in all your surroundings,
It's really not so hard...
Deep within us all, there's a battle raging,
A struggle between right and wrong,
it's a look into our lives,
to figure out where we belong.
Are we good, are we evil?
To the journey of self...
"Your heart's like an apple
And every different boy
You love, takes a bite away.
And after a while all you'll
Have is a core, and your
Real love will end up
Throwin' you away."
What is your Attitude?
Is it what people say or do or think?
What is more important than facts,
More important than money, power, and respect?
Than circumstance, failure, or success?
I wish that love had come easy.
Maybe I told you that
I wish that I could love you
but I can't
I guess I told you that
I wish that maybe sometime, you would just fade away
I guess I told you...
I love that she looked back,
to see Sodom, sodomized,
it’s so human to look over your shoulder,
to test threat carried through,
of the world in brimstone, a-smoulder,
I love that He forbade...
From my lips flow words of sorrow
at the madness of the world.
Hate, Pride and Fear
Our sweetest songs are songs of sadness
If, even if, we were beings born not
to shed a tear
As if heaven...
The intricate pattern of fate's tapestry
The enigma of life and love
It didn't matter where we were on the sperate sides of the glass
All I could see was you.
It seemed as though we mirrored...
A friend just finding himself
Sometimes I walk around not sure if in a dream,
Reality is so blurred nothing is what it seems,
But every now and then it appears to make sense
The fog begins to...

You ask me how I live my life
And I answer with X’s three
But there’s no way to understand
What this pledge means to me
It is to me complete control
There is a shortage of those feelings,
one's you can't explain
The ones that take you to a new plateau
and when they subside you can feel your body drain
Like the first time you see her naked...
This slapped me in the face while I was trying to write one about a hot summer day spent under a maple tree, not sure if I like it but I like the message so I figured I'd share.
What's it like...
Rationality, Abstract and Concrete

Delphinium do not grow out of one's mouth,
they do not push up a ceiling's loose plaster.
One's belly button does not...
Eagle spread wide open
Touching beyond reality
Chanting gibbering nonsense
Aching pain of loud love
Dreaming forth unknown worlds
Is something simple
Straight-forward and austere
There are but two ways to see it
Both bring joy through different lanes
Sometimes I feel
Like a well
The only difference is
Takes in the rain
And I take in the pain
